2011-12 Club Meeting Schedule

The Gator Club of Jacksonville's fall 2011 meeting dates are set. Meetings will be held at Sneakers Sports Grille, 8133 Point Meadows Way (near Baymeadows Rd. and 9A). For a Map to Sneakers, please see below.

Social time begins at 6:30 p.m., announcements at 7 p.m., speaker around 7:15 p.m. Meetings are free and open to all Gator fans!

  • Tuesday, February 28, 2012: Brady Ackerman, Gator Sports Network and ESPN radio Gainesville/Ocala
  • Tuesday, March 20, 2012: Kevin Brockway, Gainesville Sun sports writer - Basketball
  • Tuesday, April 17, 2012: Sam Kouvaris and Nick Giovanni, Sports Team from WJXT-Channel 4
  • May - TBD
  • Tuesday, June 12, 2012: Jeremy Foley, University of Florida Athletics Director
Jacksonville Club members be sure to stop at the Membership table on the way into the meeting for your free Membership drawing ticket. Prizes include fun Gator items and a pair of tickets to each home football game (given away at the meeting closest to the game date).

There is also a Scholarship drawing. Chances are $1 each or 6 for $5. Prizes include more fun Gator goodies and a pair of tickets to each home football game (given away at the meeting closest to the game date).

  • Tuesday, September 27: Beat Alabama game meeting with guest speaker Pat Dooley, Gainesville Sun sports columnist
  • Tuesday, October 25: Beat Georgia game meeting with former Gator football players. Confirmed: Tate Casey ('04-'08), James Smith ('05-'08), Brian Crum ('04-'06), Jeff Chandler ('98-'01), Tom Wiegmann ('80-'82) and Bobby Raymond ('83-'84)
  • Tuesday, November 8: Beat South Carolina game meeting with guest speaker Frank Frangie
  • Tuesday, January 24: Mark McLeod from ESPN radio Gainesville/Ocala
