ABOUT US

The Gator Club of Jacksonville was founded in 1979 for football fans to watch games with other Gators in the area. Over our 40 years, we have expanded our mission and grown immensely to serve the 14,000+ Gators who also call the Bold City home.

Today, Gator Clubs operate as affiliate organizations of the University of Florida Alumni Association and can be found in cities all over the globe. The Gator Nation truly is everywhere! In Jacksonville, we are passionate about our Orange and Blue community and offer a wide variety of events to spark interest in any kind of Gator.

We're proud to invest in the success of our local students. Thanks to the generosity of our club members and partners, we are able to provide financial support for tuition and other educational expenses through our Scholarship Fund, which awards more than $20,000+ each year.

We look forward to meeting you at a future event. Go Gators!

The Gator Club of Jacksonville® offers a wide range of programming throughout the year. We hold regular club meetings featuring guest speakers, including Athletic Director Scott Stricklin, Football Coach Dan Mullen, Basketball Coach Mike White, and more. Our Young Alumni group tailors additional events for the burgeoning young professionals of our city. Our Club gives back to the local community through outreach projects during the year, including International Gator Day.

And of course - we gather to cheer on the Orange and Blue with watch parties for sporting events.

All alumni, friends and fans of the Gator Nation are welcome at many of our events. Some events will require membership in the UF Alumni Association. For information on how to join the UFAA, see the membership page.
